Indian Style Rice

Ingredients

Units Scale

2 cups Basmati rice
4 cups water
2 cloves
2 cardamon pods
1 stick cinnamon
3 Tbsp macadamia nut oil (or similar)
1/2 tsp dark mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp turmeric

Instructions

Place rice and water in rice cooker. Turn on to ‘rice’ setting.
Add all other ingredients and stir in well.
Serve when cooked.
